NGI involves the construction of a 580km, 12-inch (304 mm) pipeline from Perth Basin to the Goldfields region in Western Australia.

Construction work started in Q2 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q1 2023.

The project aims to add capacity to the overall system and increase gas supply options for customers and also provide a new market for petroleum explorers and producers in the Perth Basin.
